Most camping gear wasn’t built for Malaysia. So we built our own.
TAHAN was founded by two Malaysian campers who were tired of using gear designed for somewhere else.

I bought the TAHAN Typhoon because I've been wanting a fan to use at swim meets, and I'm glad to say it has met and exceeded my expectations. The fan is compact enough to carry around, fast to set up, and most importantly the battery can last an entire day at the poolside. No more carrying around tiny handheld fans and clunky powerbanks — this is my one and done!

I'm impressed with the overall quality and functionality of the product and how much thought and care has been put into its practicality and usefulness considering its price range. My only hope is that it lives up to its name — Tahan.

The size is very practical — 3x4M gives good coverage for hammock setup or small group shelter. Material feels strong and durable, and stitching looks neat and solid. So far, no issues during setup. The butterfly design is nice and versatile, providing good rain and sun protection, and setup is quite straightforward once you get the hang of it. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality and performance. Suitable for campers who want reliable coverage without carrying something too bulky.

Superb quality product
